The Consolidated Report provides an excellent high level summary of data collected from your survey – its quick and easy to print out and take away. If however you want to produce your own customised reports to focus on particular issues, here are a few tips to get you started:- Each of the graphs and tables can be copied directly from the webpage by pushing the “Copy” button – this feature resizes the x axis of the graph so that it fits onto an A4 page. Alternatively, you can right-click on a graph with your mouse and select “Copy” from the list of options – this method copies the graph exactly as it is shown on your screen.
- Once copied, the graphs can be pasted into other applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel or Powerpoint.
- A pasted graph can be resized dynamically to suit your needs. Simply left-click on the image once, then click the left mouse button on any corner of the image so that the ‘handle’ appears – then drag the corner out to resize.
- At times it may be easier to view reports in table format. Remember that tables have two layout options – portrait and landscape. Try both to see which suits your needs best.
- Note that if you paste a table into Excel you can manipulate it further with all the functionality that Excel provides (e.g. sort by column, conditional formatting, etc).
- You can edit the chart title and background colour as well as the series bar colours if you wish, simply by clicking on the “Edit” button above each report.
- Right-click your mouse on “parent” demographics to quickly select or de-select multiple “children” demographics at once.
- If at anytime you can’t work out how to do something, consult the “Help” page which is available in the top right-hand corner of the screen, contact support@survey-online.com or call JRA on (09) 378 2003.
