Performance/Importance Matrix

Key Driver Analysis can tell you which questions from your survey are most important in influencing the engagement levels of your employees. A Performance/Importance Matrix categorises the output of a Key Driver Analysis by introducing the dimension of performance. We compare your organisation's survey results against a relevant benchmark group to create the following three categories for your key driver questions:

  1. High importance / low performance questions are ones that offer the greatest leverage for performance improvement. These are the questions that should be the focus of attention, as the return on effort will be the greatest!
  2. High importance / high performance questions are ones that need to be reinforced, and are a strength of the organisation.
  3. High importance / average performance questions are ones where your survey results are similar your benchmark group.
